Easter Egg Hunt

Yesterday was the last day before the Easter break at our school. So the student council had hidden around 60 or 70 egg all around the school property. When I mean everywhere, I really do mean everywhere. They were hidden in he schools basement, some where hidden in unused lockers. some in the gym or even in the schools laundry room where student don't even go often. Everyone was running around and some even  walked like if they weren't looking and then walked fast back again. We found one Easter egg! Of course it wasn't exactly filled with candy but we had to go to the auditorium and then they filled it up. It was so much fun and it gave me the chance to film some more for the secret movie project.

Other than that it was a day well spent in the sun!

Secret Project in motion

Yesterday I said that I might want to make a movie, today I started it. My memorable motion picture is under progress and hopefully it'll be amazing! I got my camera, I got friends, I got creativity. Nothing else is needed. First of all I thought it would be good to keep it kind of a secret. Well, yeah.... that didn't work. Some of my friends don't find it quite amusing to be filmed or taken a picture of so when I kind of explained it to them they kind if visioned how it would go. Secret Project? yeah, not anymore. For the first time in my life I used up all the memory on the card and it's only been one day. Oh dear... My computer is full again and that means, I have to delete a lot on my computer.... problem is that..... I find it heartbreaking to delete anything.
Suck it up Hina...... this is all a process!

A Thousand Roses

Today was a weird day. Like most of the days this week it started out grey. The sun fought its way back again and everything just seemed so summerish. My best friend was not there today, but it seemed to be not that catastrophic at all. What I'm trying to say is that sometimes you need to be alone and just for one day clear your mind of all the thoughts that otherwise is fogging around in your head. On my way home I took some really good pictures. or.... I think they were good. I feel like you should be allowed to feel proud once in a while.

Anyway, I watched this disney orignal movie with Matt Prokop and Sarah Hyland today called Geek Charming. Really great movie, but heeey, what do I know? I love all disney movies! Old ones and new ones. People..... THAT'S called a real Disney fan! However, back to the point. It was about him making a documentary on popularity, and it made me thinking..... I would love to make a movie about the last year of high school. You know. Kind of an undercover, surprise, best moments on High School movie. I'm really in to photography and movies so why not start? Why not begin to develop my creativity. I'm going to media and communication after High school and there are some major parts of movies involved. I think I'll. and at the end of the year maybe I'll rent a cinema hall to show it to them as a surprise and a kind of good bye?

Boost Of Inspiration

Dreamer, get ready! This is going to be a post full of inspiration. Be prepared to have your brain stormed.

First up, music. There are no inspiration without music. Music lets you escape somehow like a book only that with music you got to listen carefully. My imagination often run wild when I discover new songs or bands.
Here is my TOP 3 inspirational songs right this moment:

Florence + The Machine - No Light, No Light

Natalie Walker - Waking Dream

The Paper Kites - Bloom

Now, over to the inspiring photography. Photography is another way of telling a story. You can capture a moment forever and it'll kind of capture it in all eternity. What I like about photography is the mood that it gets me in. The way I suddenly can be inspired to using words and descriotions of the photography into a story, a book, a novel. Using the description of the photography it'll also be easier for the reader, later to understand and imagine.
Do note that these pictures are not mine if you don't see my name in the bottom.

A Little Piece Of Happiness

Today I had an all day study in Norwegian. Basically all I did was to write and procrastinate and then to rush into writing again. The sun was out today and for the first time in months it felt like I was sitting inside on the last day of school before the summer vacation. In lunch I ate ice cream. Strawberry sorbet and Cookies and Cream. Mmm. Although I have to admit that I felt pretty weird when I had the photoshoot with my ice cream.

Later my best friend came over to my school and seeing him always makes me happy. So, he was my little piece of happiness. I don't know what I would do without my friends. Oh and btw, as you may have noticed Elise is almost on every single picture I take. That's because she's my muse :) My inspiration!

Monday, surprisingly great!

The start of the day itself wasn't that great. The sun was not shining and often I think of that as a "sign" of how the day is gonna be. Naah, at the morning and after lunch school pretty much felt like: "I WANNA GO HOME!" As soon as school was done the sun peeked out of the clouds and my mood got a lot better.

Yesterday I colored my hair with Henna. yes, as like henna tattoos only for the hair. The sun came out and my hair instantly turned to red, orange brownish. In a GOOD way! Other than me being super happy about the color of my hair I also talked to Farnosh on Facebook. He always makes me happy when I need it the most. Thank God for best friends!

Did Anyone Say Dreamer?

I'm seriously an eternal dreamer. There is no way you can crush that thought. How do I know that?
Because many before have tried. Succeeded for a short amount of time till I've recharged my dreams. That's the thing I wouldn't change for the world! I like that I'm creative and it's strange because no one in my family seems to be. Or at least they haven't done anything about it. Since I got my Canon 600D camera I think I've brought it with me everywhere. I like doing what I do.

My mother says that I'm going a completely different way, as in a negative way. Maybe she says it because it's rare for anyone to go the media way. It isn't considered a very "proud" way to go. Now I'm talking about being a Pakistani girl in general.
You're not becoming a lawyer, engineer or doctor? How are you going to manage to live?
LOL! No, I'm an eternal dreamer and there is nothing they can do about it. At the end, I'm the one who has to study it, to work every single day in that job. It might as well be something I for once find interesting. Photography, Movies and Books. I need nothing more or nothing less. My dad on the other hand he supports me fully! And I am eternally thankful for that! Do you know what my mom said to dad after my first week with my camera? "What about her grades? All she's doing is taking photos. She should be studying!"
You know what my dad said? "She's 18 now, she can do what she want." believe me. There are not many Pakistani parents saying what my dad said! Obviously I can't do ANYTHING I want but what I want to do like in, what I'm interested in.

The other day my mom asked me if I'd finished writing one of my novels yet. It's unbelievable, here she says that I can't write on the week days, makes dad forbid me to write on the week days which leaves me to weekends. And then she asks if I'm finished with it? It takes TIME to write a good novel.

Today she noticed that I'd took my camera to the city with me and she flipped. She threatened to throw it away since I obviously take it with me everywhere. What makes me happy, annoys here. Just to be clear, I'm not gonna change or stop doing what I'm passionate about.

GO CREATIVITY!

The Famous Hunger Games

Today I watched The Hunger Games with my best friend Ania.
Now, that's all about me but let's talk about the movie. As you know the world has been buzzing about this movie and I for once could not wait to see if it was as good as everyone claimed it would be. Let's see my review, shall we?

The Hunger Games

The story is good. It's strong, kind of like Katniss. It survives! The movie however. Please do note that I have not read the books yet. Simply because they haven't arrived from amazon.com.
As all movies this one too had it's ups and downs.

The Effects:

I loved them! I LOVED how they used the weapons, the explosion and especially the music. Really great instrumental music playing in the background and setting the mood. The training sessions was of all the movie by far the best scene! Truly. Amazing. The quality of the film was annoying. Some places it was perfect while other where so.... dusty! Also there was this ONE effect I wasn't fond of... when they were set on fire. The flames looked fake. I don't like things that look fake. The makeup she had at the end, the butterfly eye shadow was incredible! I want that too!

The Characters:

Haymitch, Haymitch, Haymitch. WHAT A DUDE! Seriously, he was awesome! As mentioned I have not read the books yet but he was amazing. whether it was his character or him as an actor this guy got serious talent! He's one of my most favorite characters in this movie.

Gale was put aside. Yes, Yes, I know it was about the games and everything but couldn't they have done something more with Gale? All we got was two scenes and both quite short. We didn't get anything more than that they might have a thing going on. Gale might as well not have been in the movie. Instead of watching the long clips of the line for The Hunger Games children they could have made a greater deal out of Gale. Right now I don't know if I like him or not.

Cinna, was I the only one to notice the sexual tension between Katniss and Cinna? God, there was so much of it that it drove me crazy. A part of me was waiting for the two of them to make out. No joke! Other than the sexual tension he was great! Also one of my favorite characters.

Peeta, what to say about you? I'm not sure how I feel about Peeta. His character was a little bit....I don't know. I didn't quite hate him but I didn't love him either. I guess I've read too many Peeta jokes to even take him seriously. Which reminds me that most of the jokes were about Josh/Peeta always talking about the Cave Scene. Oh My God! How much I've craved to see what this famous and big deal this cave scene has to this story. When I sat there with my best friend I kept asking her when it would pop up and she told me to wait. When they first found the cave and it was like this small scene I looked at here giving here the "That's it?" look. Luckily she shook her head. When the REAL Cave Scene came and the dialogue between Katniss and Peeta started I suddenly began to laugh. By laughing I mean so much that no noise would come out and I sat there shaking so much and tears filling my eyes. I haven't laughed that much in a loooooong time.
Why I laughed, you ask?
Simple. Because the dialogue they had was completely out of the context. It felt like they had changed the movie or something. And maybe I laughed a tiny bit because of all the Cave Scene jokes I remembered that I'd read.

Rue was the most alive character. Alive as in showing the emotions correctly and you know, being alive. She obviously was the youngest one and reminded Katniss of her little sister Primrose. Oh, and that's the other thing. I don't like Primrose. Don't ask why, because I don't got a good reason but it's just a feeling. Rue on the other hand was more like Katniss's little sister. Obviously that is probably what the author created her for. When she died I didn't get very emotional. That's kind of the funny part. Yes, the actors showed emotions but either those emotions wasn't good enough or my emotions where on a break. Because I cry easily. I cry for everything. I'm not even joking. A small scene and you'll see me wiping away the tears in a hurry.

Finally, Cato and his gang. Cato was asdfghjkl material! Ania and I held each other so strongly whenever he showed up and my heart just kept skipping some beats. His attitude and the way he was. I ADORE HIM! Of course killing people is bad, unless you're in The Hunger Games but the way he did it. He got style.
His gang on the other hand. Weeeeeeeell, they were great too but he did stand out! Maybe a tiiiiiiny bit arrogant but come on guys, he got the FACE!

The Girl On Fire and overall.
Katniss was great and Jennifer Lawrence was flawless. She played well and her emotions and the way she were was amazing. Overall I think the movie was great! although I have this slight issue with the handheld camera where there should NOT be a handheld camera. Also I was expecting more blood! The fact that they had looong endless clips about the crowds and all of that I really got mad when I found out that the people that got killed first couldn't be filmed properly with actually showing that they was getting killed.

I'm definitely looking forward to reading the books! No matter how the movie is the books always have that little extra. Also maybe I'll get to know these characters better. Arg! It annoys me so much that Gale was put aside when he obviously had a big part in Katniss's life.

Let's Celebrate!

As promised I said I would update you on how the mini surprise birthday party for Farnosh went.
It went great, we bought a muffin and some candles and all we needed was a lighter. Could you guess what went wrong? Haha, yep. We had no lighter. So after asking a bunch of people we found a teacher which was willing to give us a matchbox with 3 matches. When the birthday boy finally arrived it took 3 girls lighting one candle. He was so surprised and he really appreciated that we would do all of this, although it wasn't much, for him. He also told me that he had tears in his eyes when he had read my text which I sent him 00.00. This day kind of reminded me again of how much I love having him as a best friend.

Birthday Card

Turning 18 today is one of my best friends Farnosh. I just finished writing his birthday card and he's heading over to my high school after he's done. See, we don't exactly go to the same school so I don't get to see him every single day. So more updates will come in the evening. more or less. with updates I mean pictures.

My Future Is In Your Hands Skype!

I've been thinking about blogging all day and now I'm finally doing it.
Today was kind of not my day. I wasn't over happy or happy at all. It was just one of those days where you don't feel like being there at all. There as in school. You know it's one of those days if you see me with a big cup of hot chocolate in my hand. I didn't talk much during the break but when the sun came out I sat outside again where Elise and I was sitting yesterday. She was at work today and I could really feel her absence. I notice that whenever I get to know one of my friends better I really feel happy. Because that person confides in me and likes me for who I am and how I am. I skyped with my best friend when I got home and she too told me how she felt and how annoying it is for her to listen to everyone's depressing stories about them or their love life.

Anyway, every time I skype I feel like this is how it's going to be for me in the future. When we're done with High School we're all off to college and then what? Well, we're not all studying at the same college and not even in the same city. Skype is going to be the closest and cheapest way of seeing each other every day or week. Skype's gonna be my bestie in the future. My friendship is in your hands skype!

Then Isha, my little sister on 5 came in to my room and we got a little tiny bit crazy with my camera. I feel like: no pictures? NO BLOGGING! It get's too boring reading a text post only.

Life's What Happened

Days like these? Yes! MORE PLEASE!
I really got to talk to my lovely friend Elise about everything I've been keeping inside as well as she talking to me about everything she's been keeping inside. After all the confession stuff everything just got a lot better. We sat outside in the sun, drank some hot chocolate and talked about all and nothing.
The best thing of all? She never minds when I take pictures of her. It makes it so much easier to just take a picture when the moment is right or she's like in this perfect photography zone. Friends like these are the one's worth keeping, no matter what happens.

Can't Say No

Right now I'm sitting alone listening to Music. I don't have any classes until 12.20. A break from school you say? I don't complain. I've made a summer feeling playlist on Youtube with all the songs that can give you a summer feeling. I got Olly Murs with Dance With Me Tonight and Heart Skips A Beat. 3OH!3 with We Are Young, Conor Maynard with Can't Say No, Joe McElderry with Ambitions and  Cher Lloyd  with Swagger Jagger. I love music that gets you in a certain mood. No matter if you're sad or happy you can become the complete opposite by listening to music.

One thing I got to tell you. It's really hard to find some great inspiration sitting here all by myself and I've already taken pictures here before. Picture of the computer screen? Okay. Enjoy

Ear Cuffs and Sunshine

I think I've mentioned my ear cuffs over the entire internet and several time to my friends.
LOOK, EAR CUFFS!

Basically the day spent so far was in marketing, media and Norwegian class. and of course a day spent more or less well with my friends. The sun was shining and it feels like summer again. minus the wind blowing  but hopefully it'll go away. Right now I'm watching One Tree Hill and after this Veronica Mars will come. After all, a good day.
